What's going on with ALL the LONG youtube commercials?!!

6+ minutes of commercials to watch a 5 minute how to fix it video?! Is it just me I never had to watch commercials at all until recently now every little thing is a ton of commercials first. What the heck happened?

I agree it is annoying. I caved in and paid to have all ads removed. Well worth it since that is my #1 source of music and entertainment.

Ad block plus can remove those ads for free. Only works on a computer however.

Ad Block plus can’t block the first 30 seconds but after that it blocks. You also have to manually disable “allow acceptable ads” in the settings and update the filters.

Should the time come when I cannot block ads on YouTube then I will stop watching videos there.

Ad Block plus can’t block the first 30 seconds but after that it blocks. You also have to manually disable “allow acceptable ads” in the settings and update the filters.

It does the opposite, longer and then more commercials.

How do I do this?

You go into settings of the plug-in. Also you can search for your particular browser on how to do it.

If you are researching a topic, try to use the SHORTS search option. There is a lot of crap on there but there is also a lot of useful and informative videos as well.
