| I just came across a website ncsasports.org that has my child’s information for recruiting purposes right down to his height, weight, mile/two mile time and photo. This information did not come from me or my child. Is this website legit? DC would be interested in setting up information for recruitment but this seems super suspicious. Anyone have any insight on this? |

Run don't walk from them. All your kid needs to get recruited is the ability to email a coach and send videos. You don't need to pay 3,000-5,000 for them to send emails that your kid could easily send for themselves.

Surprised they had your child’s info pre-loaded. Seems to have a partnership with IMG. Maybe they obtained your child’s data from them? Otherwise, it seems that you have to intentionally sign up for an account to input the data. I can’t even look up information without signing up for an account.
If you never attended an IMG camp or signed up for an account, I would also wonder where that data and profile came from? |
Yeah, never attended or signed up for anything and the data is relatively accurate. It's disturbing that they could post all of that about my child (including a relatively recent picture!) without our knowledge or consent. |
If there's a picture, your club probably has an arrangement to create a free account. |
| Don’t trust any .org site that charges for services. Scammy |
The weird thing is, it’s not a picture I used for anything with our club. |
It came from your child or coach/club. They are super annoying with their marketing. |
