CES and ELC

My family is new to MCPS. DC scored high enough on the fall MAP and will qualify for CES lottery if they score similarly. His home school has a CES, but because it is a lottery to get in my question is: What happens to students who qualify for CES but do not get in at their home school?
When I looked at the website, I did not see CES schools listed under schools with ELC. |

Oh that’s an interesting scenario. When they were adding ELC to most schools, I thought I read that the only schools that won’t offer ELC are immersion schools, but someone correct me if I’m wrong. If that’s true, then there should be ELC in your school? |
