S/O -- How does one cook a huge turkey breast?

Anonymous
How does one cook an 8-pound breast! I thought I was getting a 4-pounder from HT pickup but they gave me this huge one. Can I cook it in one of those small Cuisinart ovens? Or, will it fit in a smaller instant pot? The main over is already taken. Help!

And cook it...how? We need our main over for other stuff.

Try and fit it in the instapot. I am always happy with how it comes out in there and you also get broth you can freeze or use for gravy.

If it doesn't fit, take it back to HT and exchange it for a smaller one.

I’m preparing mine in a crockpot, then quick roasting to crisp up the skin.

I would not do a toaster oven, it will burn on top. Do you have a grill or a large crockpot? If it sort of fits in a crockpot, you can put foil over it. You may want to plan a few minutes in the oven at the end to have the skin look more appetizing.

No idea. Our personal chef does it for us.

Move other stuff into the cuisinart or toaster oven. The turkey is the main event.
