What to do with old electronics?

I'm doing some decluttering and have some old electronics - a laptop, cameras, CDs, floppy disks, etc. I'd like to get rid of them responsibly and recycle, but the next electronics recycling date in my county is months away. I want this stuff out of my house now!! Any suggestions.

Take these thing to a recycling center.

BestBuy will take old electronics too. 3 a day.

If you live in DC you can recycle electronics for free at a landfill/dump up by catholic university. Can't remember the name but you could google it.

Freecycle (google it) - people will come to your house to pick this stuff up. You don't even have to be there.
