DS turning 21, junior in college. His DD received jewelry in the $500 range for that BD. DS has a newish laptop and sound system, newish set of skis, etc. He works out regularly. Played soccer and ultimate frisbee in HS and plays on club teams at his school. Also DJs at school events and parties. Likes stylish yet comfy attire
Stumped at what to get. |

My kids don’t deal in cash any more. Same for others? |
All the better. They can shove it in a desk drawer and forget about it until they need it. |
| Venmo them or get a gift card for a store they like. |
| Vuori and Lululemon are comfy and popular. Untukit is also good quality but probably not as popular among college kids. |
| Alo sweatsuit |
| A mini-bar and some booze. He's going to get it anyway, so might as well teach him to buy the good stuff and not the rocket fuel. |
| Show him how to set up and IRA and give him some money to get it started. |
| $$. If not cash, deposit it into his checking account. |
No need to encourage something that's bad for their physical, mental, relational and financial health. Follow science not culture. |
