Did anyone attend this last weekend? What did you think about the addition of 25 yard freestyle events?

11-12, 13-14, and Open. There were some 9 second times 😂. What was the point of these events?

No point, I agree, but that sounds fun!

it looked like great fun. My DD and her teammates wanted to enter but thought their coach would reject the entry LOL.

Swim is a grind, fun is good

Sounds like fun! Wonder if ICSA streamed it and there are videos of the 25s.

If this is the announcement, looks like the fees were flat rate per swimmer.

The swimmers could swim 9 events. The 25 is fun, the swimmers who did it still had 8 other real events they could swim. Kudos to Isca for making an effort to keep things fun

Are you talking about this past weekend’s meet? It wasn’t a national championship.
