For the AMC 10/12 contest at Montgomery College, when do scores usually get sent to students?
Have your received yours from this year yet? (A or B?) |
My son received his AMC scores the day after he took each exam. Ask your proctor for your child’s score report. |
From Montgomery Colllege? |
We were at a different location. It took a week to get the score for the AMC 10A and we needed to email the Proctor for the AMC 10B scores. She responded quickly with the 10B scores.
Email your Proctor is the general advice given. They have the scores and should be able to get them to you immediately. I have no idea why some don’t send them out quickly. |
No, but it doesn't matter. ALL of the proctors had the scores available in their portals one day after the exam. The only way you can get the scores is to email the proctor and request them. If they say that they do not have the scores, they are wrong. They just need to check their proctor portal. |
Mid December. The Montgomery College administrator went on leave for the month November, which delayed processing. The MAA scores the tests quickly after submission, but for unknown reasons does not help deliver scores to students, even though they have every student's email address. The proctor has to reach out to every student to deliver the scores, and not all proctors are savvy enough to perform a mail merge. |
Some proctors don't report scores until they get the awards and AIME qualification information from MAA (in early/mid-December), so they can wait (do other things with their life) and then make one announcement with all the results, and then be done.
This is not what most of the students prefer, but is what it is. |
