Any intel on when EA results will be coming out?

Is it always a bit of a mystery? My DS said they will announce soon the date with which the school will be sending admission results. When did kids learn last year?

Each school publishes their release date on their websites. That info is already available. That said, sometimes those dates fall on weekends so things change. The College Confidential forums have posters who try to read the tea leaves.

It ranges by the school I think. Some give a very specific date, some say “by” a certain date. My daughter heard earlier this week from a school that says it announces by Jan 15 and we were really surprised.

Our official date last year was 15 December, but students started hearing about a week before.

Last year many of the Ivies posted on Dec 14. The date was announced in early December.

OP, it is very different for different schools. Some as early as mid Dec, some as late as early Feb.

I believe Yale is confirmed for December 17th in the admissions portal. I saw a TikTok from a supposed recruited athlete claiming Harvard is December 12th. The TikTok itself is unproven but the date would line up with previous patterns. I have a guess Princeton may be the 12th too but have no single date guess on the other Ivies.

I run the calendar that’s been linked in this thread twice (no, I was not the one who linked it here, just noticed an uptick of referral traffic from here which led me to check in). I post some speculated guesses on the website but have some other decision guesses I didn’t post because it’s a toss up between two dates. If there are any you’d like to know I can try to remember to check back here and see if I have guesses for them that I didn’t put on the website.
