Help me plan a few ski trip meals! We have a full kitchen and a crock pot. What is easy and can be made ahead.

Stew
Chili
Curry

We also do stir fry, pasta and meat sauce, and occasionally order pizza.

Our go to's are pasta and sauce with a bagged caesar salad, a big salad with shredded rotisserie chicken and baguette, chili. If there is a whole foods (like in Park City) we do the grilled salmon and sides from the prepared foods section. And we are always starving when we come in from skiing so tend to do cheese and crackers or other snacks before dinner.

The key is simple things that don't require a lot of prep or spices. Ski area grocery stores tend to cater to that with a lot of prepared or easy to prepare food.

We also tend to go out for dinner a lot - usually alternate with cooking in.

We pack the ingredients (spices, rice, etc.) for fried chicken tacos and chicken piccata and have the perishables (the chicken) delivered to the condo.

Trader Joe's - buy a bunch of the frozen heat and eat meals. Or if you look on instagram you can find a lot of "TJ 5 ingredients or less" meal ideas.

Chilli, soups and stews
Nothing is better for me then a bowl of hot soup/stew after skiing
So, if driving - I take my instapot with me and use one-pot recipes. Prep in the evening before, everything in the pot the morning after, ready to eat when we're back.
Supplement with bagged salad and good bread.

Assuming don’t need vegetarian options:

Crockpot lasagna
Crockpot pulled pork sandwiches
Crockpot spaghetti and meatballs
Crockpot enchiladas
Crockpot sloppy joes
Crockpot tacos

… in other words, crockpot everything, because the cook likes to ski or shop or do whatever during day too and so if do crockpot, EVERYone can come home to warm meal without the wait. Oh, and non-cooks clean up!
