DD 15 wants new casual sneakers for
Christmas. Hates shopping and just wants me to order a couple of pairs to try from Zappos. What brands/styles should we narrow down to for updated look? (She doesn’t really know/care that much but as long as we’re spending $ on a new pair, I’d like to get her ones that are currently in style and won’t look out of place in school) She owns a pair of Hokas that are ok but falling apart. And a pair of hi-top Vans from a couple of years ago that she never wears anymore. |

Nike Air Max
Nike Blazers |
| All my kids'friends wear Converse. |
| Adidas Samba/Gazelle. Vejas. |
| Air Jordan 1's a popular, as well as Adidas, and New Balance(retro). |
| Why not replace the hokas? |
Np. Are Hokas still a thing? |
Were they ever “a thing” if you were under 40? |
| On Cloud? My teens like them but they're older teens (college). |
My 15 year old has the adidas samba OG sneakers: https://www.adidas.com/us/samba-og-shoes/IE3437.html Last year she had the Nike high tops, and vans the year before that. |
You’ve…missed that entire trend? Bama Rush Tok was defined by Hokas. |
|
My 13 and 14 year old girls both said Adidas campus 00 are the most popular in their crew.
I think the Gazelles are good too. And, black and white Nike dunks. |
|
On cloud
Nike air 270s Adidas sambas Jordans, dunks & air forces seem to be out. I have to say that I got On Clouds after a heel injury, and they’ve been great for my feet |

Hokas are popular for people who stand on their feet all day. New Balance is making a major comeback. Not just for runners anymore.
Find out what color, high top or low top and go from there. |
