Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
| How is it? |
| Overpriced, loud and full of "bros". |
| We have been twice and really liked it. I thought it was well priced ($23 for a good piece of steak and sides seems pretty good these days, and that is the most expensive thing) and had good service. I have no idea what "bros" are though. |
| Bros are fratty, entitled, just-graduated dudes who think their profanity-laced conversations are so entertaining that everyone in the restaurant should hear them. |
| I have been once to the bar for drinks and appetizers and once for dinner. I liked it! It does get loud, but I thought the food was good and our server was really nice. I did not think it was anymore expensive than any of the other similar restaurants in Clarendon - Liberty, Sette Bello, 3, etc. I did not notice a lot of "bros" and think if you stay out of the bar, that should not be a problem. Oh, one weird thing is the bathroom - when you wash hands, you are facing the men's bathroom, so men and women can look at each other while washing - weird! |

I have been once.If you don't know, they are also owned by the ppl from Liberty Tavern & Northside Social. We sat outside. I thought it was pretty well priced. I liked they had a good selection of cheese since I am huge cheeselover!
Having said that, there was this extremely drunk group outside as well. They were throwing glasses into the street. They were of course thrown out. But that really ruined the experience |

Been twice. Once just with my husband and once on a weeknight, early 6:00 pm with our kids. Very good both times. Excellent beer selection, we had a great escargot apetizer and then shared the sausage for 2 which was so good and filling. Both times we did a cheese plate which was very good and the kids menu was very good.
Didn't see the "bro crowd" or rude people but both times we were there was during the week so maybe a different crowd is there on the weekend. |
| I've been there a few times and enjoyed it, for the most part. We always sit at the bar. It gets a bit crowded, but not usually unmanageable. Last weekend I had the Mussels Frites and thought they were quite good. The bar service was attentive and they had a great selection of beer and decent wine at what I feel are "normal" prices, so I'll go back. |
| My husband and I have been there several times and love love love the food! Last night they mad me the most amazing tomato and peach salad. I mean, how often do you get excited about salad? I agree that it can get loud and become a bit of a bar type scene but if you can go early in the evening it's pretty quiet. I can't wait to go when I'm not pregnant and can have the steak tartare! |
