| Anyone else find it disappointing and sometimes boring? The man who was the Renaissance Man for all time should be a fascinating show but it fell short for me. |

Too long.
|
| I love it. |
| Way too long, with a lot of filler about nature and anatomy. |
| Love it. But I have an attention span |

Yeah I haven’t watched this yet but I’ve read at least one review that said this material could have easily been covered in half the length. Everyone’s seen a documentary like this, that’s good but contains repetition and filler. The one about the McDonald’s Monopoly game scandal was another one.
Is this the first Ken Burns doc that’s about a subject that’s not American? |

| It is quite repetitive but still interesting. Much of it is not new, but I can’t help wondering how anyone could be that intelligent in so many areas. Is there anyone around these days with that kind of multi-faceted genius? I think his mother was a prostitute, so then I was wondering if he got his brains from her or one of her Johns. Or maybe some earlier in the tree. |
| PP..A person can be a prostitute and smart. His mom was really poor so probably never had a chance. I didn't realize he was a genius about so many things besides painting. |
| I’m embarrassed to say I spent a minute wondering who Ken was and what his beef is with DiCaprio. |
