Looking at sellung on some websites like Nextdoor, Craigslist, ebay, Poshmark, etc.
Selling kids, teen and women clothing. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you. |
| I buy on Poshmark pretty frequently. I tried selling on Mercari once and didn't get a single offer. |
| I sold some things on Poshmark. Some clothes, mostly accessories. They take a cut so be prepared to not make much for your effort. That being said, if you are determined and patient and have a lot of things to sell, it could be great! |
Why not just donate clothes for the folks who are less fortunate than you? |

For big bundles of things: Facebook
For individual items that have value: Poshmark |
| Poshmark is good for designer or higher end brands but useless for basic mall brand clothing. Beware they take a 20% cut. |
| I've sold a handful on eBay; if you just have a few things and want to sell them quickly and easily, it works. |
|
For kids/teens the juice isn't worth the squeeze. For woman's it's only worth it for sought after designer items. |

If you don’t feel attached to getting a return of any amount I like selling through consignment shops in NVA
It’s a humbling experience for sure but also gets the job done faster |
| I sent two large packages of clothes (brands like JCrew, some Anthro items) to ThredUp expecting to get almost nothing for them and have been pleasantly surprised. My items have been selling quickly and I've gotten a couple hundred dollars so far. They have a deal where you can either get cash back or redeem for a gift card and get a 10-15% bonus with certain brands. It's not a lot but is on par with what I've gotten from local consignment stores for a lot less hassle. I don't have the time to deal with eBay, Poshmark anymore. |
