boarding RideOn bus *near" stop

Anonymous
When I'm waiting for the RideOn bus at an intersection stop, and it has a red light and a line of cars, and the bus is in the line a few cars back from the official stop...
Does the bus driver want me to walk 30ft back to the bus to get on while waiting for the red light to change to green, to save some time on the route?
Or does the bus driver want me to wait at the official stop 30 feet away?

I ask because it looks like the bus is pulling over to the curb, een when it is in line back there.

Saving time on the route may be unnecessary or even undesirable. They don’t want to get to a stop early and cause someone who gets there just on time to miss the bus.

They also don’t want to encourage you to step into traffic to board the bus. So I would wait at the stop.
