Zipper repair, leather jacket

My daughter's favorite (thrift store) leather jacket has a broken zipper.
What would you expect to pay to replace it? I'll be asking a few tailors tomorrow but am trying to decide whether to just get her a new one for Christmas. Since she loves this one, my inclinations is to just repair this one instead. |

I don't remember the cost to replace the zipper on my favorite, older Prada jacket. It wasn't cheap. But it was far less expensive than getting a new jacket, plus I couldn't find one that was comparable.
The hardest part was making sure that they used the right zipper. |
