Madeira - How competitive will admissions be this year?

Trying to gauge our DD’s chance of admission. Strong grades from DMV independent school, but average testing scores. Day student, full pay. Will also apply to Field, SSFS, Burke, and Bullis.

Madeira seemed pretty holistic when my daughter's class applied a couple of years ago. What else does your kid offer?

My DD is there now, and I will say, the girls are not all the same, so it is very hard to say. Some girls are highly academic, some sporty, some artsy, etc etc.

I would definitely take a campus tour, schedule your interviews and just enjoy the process. I am sure, based on the past few years, it will be competitive given the numbers I have heard and the space they have to offer.
