Now that you are an adult/parent do you think all of those papers

you wrote in college were actually read by your professors? I had a few there they just wrote "Interesting! 95%" on the top.

In HS I got a C on every paper I wrote, and my BFF got an A.

We decided I would write her paper, and she would write mine and I got a C and she got an A.

She was an A student, and I was a C student in English so maybe she read the 1st few.

In college, yes they read my papers in English 101 and I realized I was a C student when writing so I became a Math/Comp Sci major and got straight A's B's.

I would have been a rock star if I had ChatGPT though, because I have great ideas, I just can't express them in writing.

I found out at 40 that I was dyslexic. I use ChatGPT on the regular now.

Yes, my professors were reading them… they gave detailed comments throughout. I did go to a small college, though.

I was a TA while in grad school and I read and graded undergraduate papers. The professor did look over them (I think he probably spent more time looking over my first batch of graded papers to make sure that he was happy with my grading and comments.) But, after the first set, I got little feedback from him regarding my grading.

I was an English/History double major and wrote a ton of papers. I knew that some professors read them and some didn’t. The ones who did often scrawled comments throughout and a thoughtful paragraph at the end. I went to a great college that prided itself on its undergraduate teaching, so YMMV.

I had an undergrad professor who noticed I reversed my sources in two endnotes in a term paper.

I was shocked to find out that professors in my Top 10 MBA program didn't grade the first years' written corporate strategy exams. They paid 2nd year students to do it.

There was so much bias in undergrad. American college and I noticed there only one minority student in Phi Beta Kappa. I had many talented minority classmates. Papers were not blindly graded.

I studied abroad during junior year at a top UK university. Papers were blindly graded. I did much better grade wise there overall than my American school and there is not much grade inflation in the UK at all.

I went to community college and know my English papers were read. The biology papers? Maybe skimmed.
