The rules:
1) Limit 1 plate, no second round. 2) Limit 6 items on 1 plate. 3) You can double up items, but that's 2 items. 4) Gravy and butter don't count as items, they are add-ons, but cranberry sauce is a stand-alone item. 5) Give your plate a name or a theme. 6) Don't put down someone else's plate. This is just for fun in this disaster of a world! My plate: "I Don't Waste Time with Turkey" 1) Mashed potatoes with gravy 2) Corn pudding 3) Dressing 4) Green beans (plain, not green bean casserole) 5) Cranberry sauce 6) Parker House roll with butter |
|
If those are the rules then:
Turkey with gravy (white meat only) 4 servings of stuffing a piece of apple pie |
Sorry, I will call it, "I'm here for the stuffing." |
OP here...oh I should have said "dessert plate is a different plate." Let's say you can have 3 desserts on your dessert plate. Mine will be: 2-serving gigantic slab of pecan pie with whipped cream, plus obligatory sliver of pumpkin pie |
|
"Side Chick"
1) Mashed potatoes with gravy 2) Dressing (not corn bread) 3) Sweet potato casserole with pecan topping 4) Green beans salad (green beans, feta, olives, onions, tomatoes, red wine vinegar) 5) Cranberry sauce - homemade with a grand mariner 6) Pumpkin pie/pumpkin roll/pumpkin cheesecake (if dessert doesn't count, I'll take a second helping of dressing) |

Yeah I'm passing on the meat too
We have a LOT of sides at our house. 1. Sweet potato casserole with marshmallows and crunchy pecans. I can have mashed potatoes any day. 2. Creamed spinach 3. Stuffed mushroom caps 4. The cheap rolls that are 3 sides pull apart a toaster with butter. These are small so I get two for one serving. 5. Cheese and crackers (appetizer but it's a must) 6. Warm pecan pie with lots of whipped crème |
Ok wait I just saw that dessert is separate. Nix the pie add it to the dessert plate along with chocolate and pumpkin pies a sliver of each and my substitute is cranberry sauce |
| This is dumb. |
