Has anyone seen it? It's a wild ride and Mikey Madison is amazing. Highly recommend. But not for minors or even adult pearl clutchers. |
I saw it and I was expecting something else. Didn't love it. Had a huge issue with her f'ing the Russian guy at the end when she spent the whole film hating him - did her character dirty.
It was a big wild goose chase waste of time over an immature kid who was never going to pick her over his dad's money. |
LOVED this movie. |
Guessing “spoiler alert” isn’t on your vocabulary. Thanks a lot, jerk. |
Sounds like a dirty Hallmark movie |
It's not IN nor ON my vocabulary. You weren't seeing it anyway, jerk. |
My 16 year old says she’s going to see
This tomorrow. Literally never heard of it until tonight. Sounds like it’s not at all appropriate for this age group? |
It was great. Agree it’s not for pearl clutchers.
To me almost every movie is appropriate for a 16 year old, but I don’t want to sit through sex scenes with mine, which is why dh and I were glad we didn’t bring ours. I felt like this movie to a cross between uncut gems, pulp fiction and Romeo and Juliet. All the actors were really strong. |
I saw it. It had some interesting parts, but it was hard to watch. |
The sex is fairly graphic and it definitely shows the "seedy underworld" of sex work. So... depends on your teen and you. |
This film is getting Oscar buzz. Saw her on Jimmy Kimmel and she was a proper lady compared to her character. She really inhabited that role. |
She was great as the oldest daughter in Better Things, if you're looking to expand your Mikey Madison repertoire |
Liked the movie. hated the ending. Glad I didn’t watch with my 18 year old son. |
Absolutely hated it. Every scene dragged on WAY too long. I kept saying “come on already we get it we get it keep it moving”
|
I loved the ending. It was unexpected which is always nice.
It’s funny to me how people react differently to movies. Totally fair to have your own opinion. To me, this is one of those movies that makes you think and it is not formula so I liked it. I compare and contrast that to Carry On, for example, and that’s why I hated that movie. It’s trite and formulaic. |
