Has anyone bought this in the past? For reference, I’m referring to the kit that comes with the half turkey breast, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, cranberry, and gravy. I believe it’s all pre-cooked.
I’m curious about the taste. It’s just me and my kids this year and this would be ideal, if tasty. Thanks in advance! |
| Gross. It’s so easy to buy a small boneless turkey breast and cook it yourself. |
Have you tried it, or is this just your opinion? |
Pretty obviously someone with their nose in the air but with no actual knowledge. |

The Turkey is not cooked, you will need to cook it but it is very simple.
The Turkey, gravy and potatoes were delicious IMO, stuffing was okay. Not much to say about the green beans, they are what they are. The cranberry sauce was good if you like cranberries. This is a great option for 3-4 people and you'll have some leftovers. It says it serves up to 8, that's a stretch. If you prefer dark meat, this is breast meat but it is not dry at all. For the price, you can't beat it when compared to buying everything separately. |

Not OP, but thanks. It's just my DH and I, and I'm tempted to cancel our reservation and do this. |
| Following as we only have 3 people this year. Does the kit come with instructions on how to cook the turkey breast? Or does PP who had it before recall how to cook the turkey? |

This has instructions. |
| I made this dinner today and I was very impressed. The directions are in small print on the label….although another commenter posted a link that sets the directions out in an easy-to-read format. The 1/2 turkey breast was moist with great turkey flavor. I sliced it after resting it for 30-40 minutes or so and there was absolutely no waste. Allow the full 2 hours to roast the turkey and stuffing as directed….but you can prep the mashed potatoes and green beans in the oven at the same time as the last hour that the turkey roasts. Our kit cost $41. We will get 3 full turkey dinners from it before we give up and freeze the rest as individual lunches or dinners. I think that it would serve 6-8 of moderately hungry folks….but you should buy more cranberry sauce! |
