I'm not sure I'd even call it a baby shower. Our team mom is expecting a little girl in about 2 weeks, so a bunch of the moms want to have a little celebration for her on the field after our boys' scrimmage over Labor Day weekend. She was our team mom last year as well, and a lot of us know each other from last year's team (though we have some new families as well) so really we just want to acknowledge the baby and thank her for taking on this job again at 9 months pregnant!
Someone is getting a cake, and I volunteered to bring a snack & drink to share. Is there anything cute and pink I can bring that will hold up well? I'll bring a cooler, and we'll be out on the field (in the heat) after the scrimmage in a very informal setting, probably just a small folding table, tons of kids running around, etc. We'll have plates & forks for cake, but a finger food would be best. I thought of making chocolate-covered strawberries & drizzling with pink & white, but I think they'll melt and be a total mess. Maybe pink rice krispy treats with pink sprinkles, and pink lemonade? Any other ideas? |

| Hey - Christine? The pink lemonade is a great idea. I like the popcorn suggestion. |

| Haha how cute. Well, I don't know either of you, but I'm glad you like the popcorn idea. I've never tried any of those, but I found them via a google search and it looked good. |
