Dubai with Kids

Anonymous
We will be traveling to Dubai for a wedding with 4 kids. Any recommendations on kid friendly hotels & must do attractions (my kids ages range from 3-11). We are planning to stay at the Atlantis for two nights but looking for options for the other days.

Pretty much anywhere on the Palm and you'll be fine. Outside of that, the resorts on Jumeirah Beach Road, in the Marina and that area will all be fine with easy beach access and generally kid stuff too.

What a tacky place to get married

We rented an apartment in the Marina - it was nice. Kids really enjoyed Dubai. Hotel is better if you want to drink alcohol.

They are probably South Asian. We love the tacky and over-the-top soullessness of Dubai. Plus easy to get food and outfits. Have had several of my own relatives get married there.

Well, it is like Vegas. But it’s much better, richer, glitzier. And there’s beaches, boating, fishing…Vegas doesn’t have all that. Oh and camels, desert safaris, old forts/castles, etc… I don’t think Vegas has any of that either.!

What’s wrong with old forts and castles?

Not saying the human rights situation is perfect, but maybe trade and time will help with that.

Marriott Marquis has family rooms and the location worked for us. Activities: Burj Khalifa followed by Dubai Mall and fountain, Kite beach, Aura skypool, Dubai marina walk, ski Dubai, Dubai frame.

Why not just continue staying there? Easier with kids and it's so damn hot.
