SSIMS open house for 5th graders?

| I am a ssims 6th grade parent, there was not one last year (unless I missed it, but I would have heard from other parents) |

| I have one there now and one who just started HS. The “open house” they each had was a day early in summer (after school is out) when they were invited to see the school ahead of attending that fall. There wasn’t a session in the fall for rising 5th graders to determine whether they wanted to attend. |

I have two older kids who went to SSIMS, and they did previously have a fall showcase for 5th graders and their parents. It was held in the evening, and the kids and parents could separately walk around the school to different activity stations or info sessions. Maybe it wasn't restarted after Covid. |

Thank you for the information. I did contact the school but they never responded. My dd is currently in Spanish immersion and has the option of continuing on to Ssims in Spanish immersion (our home school) or White Oak where her immersion program articulates too. White Oak is having an open house this month. It would be nice to be able to compare schools
