| Lots of older girls I know started with them before leaving for bigger clubs. They can all play and appear to be developed intentionally. Anyone have knowledge of the boys side? |
| ....what is that? I'm going with us but great if I don't even know what it is. |

I've known a bunch of girls who tried it for a year and left bc it was not a good experience. But often these things come down to individual coaches. |
| I've heard different, they leave for bigger clubs and instantly regret it. I was asking about the boys side though, anyone have any knowledge? |
| I had my son participate in sessions when he was 5 LOL. It’s run by Serbian former players. I ended up not signing my son up because they did not appear to be well organized. |

They’re good coaches working with little kids but not so much if you want anything competitive. They don’t play in travel leagues or do any major tournaments. They do SAM Select until u13.
The boys side is not good at all from the limited amount I saw. They also barely have any teams. I think it’s newer so they don’t have much of a track record but I’m not positive on that. I know you don’t seem to care but the girls side hasn’t had a strong team in years. Extremely weak below 2008. They had a run of a few good years now starting to age out. My experience with them was overpriced glorified rec soccer. Huge practices with coaches having multiple teams at once, often combining two age groups, packed in small corners of a field. Most of the kids and families were not very serious or dedicated, on top of not being good. The boys were practicing right next to/on top of the girls so it’s not like that was any different. |
| Why does this thread feel like the same person is talking to themselves? |
| There are some great coaches there, but they suffer from the same problem that every Club in Montgomery County suffers from: they are not Bethesda, and this means that they suffer horribly from recruitment problems. We really like the kids we played with when we were there, but ultimately had to leave because they were just getting a bunch of kids that were completely new to soccer And like other posters pointed out it was basically Rec soccer |
Well, I was one single poster above and not talking to myself. Can’t speak for everyone else. |
