Infants, Toddlers, & Preschoolers
This has happened twice to my DS. He wakes up in the morning and the crib is full of the stuff that is inside the diaper(fiber stuff). It seems like it opens up in the front waistline and all the inside stuff comes out. Thank goodness my DS didnt eat any, but i would think this is dangerous. I used to use huggies overngiht but they kept leaking, so we tried pampers which are good, never leaked, but now came across this problem. What do use for overnight?
I use them - never had that problem. do you have him in a sleepsack or pj bottoms? I know mine would tug on his diaper if it weren't covered up by something. Maybe that's the problem?
We use these diapers every night and have never had that problem.
We had that problem too. It seemed to be that DD had peed so much that she exceeded the capacity of the diaper and the stuff inside just exploded. It was really messy and very gross. We switched to the Huggies overnights and haven't had a problem since. But if the Huggies aren't working for you, I'm not sure what else to suggest.
We used to use Pampers overnights and they couldn't contain DD's pee... never had that problem, but we had to switch to Huggies anyways. Huggies has contained the pee very well.

Yep, we had the same issue with ours. At first we just went up a size at night, then we hit the largest size they make, so we bought diaper boosters like these
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3844600 at babies r us. We also always make sure he has shorts, pants or a onesie on at night. |
This happened with my daughter with the dry max diapers, and than again with the pampers overnights, so now we just use huggies, no problems.
Hey there, when it gets too full for capacity, they will do this....use one size bigger, and you should be fine.

Same here...went through, went a size up. It stopped the gross stuff from breaking through, but she still pees through to her sheets etc. Not to be an alarmist, but talk to your pediatrician. We found out our DD had something called Diabetes Insepidis. The TON of pee and drinking is what led to the diagnosis.
