Korean Spas in the DMV

Anonymous
I have family visiting over the holidays and they would like to go to the jimjilbang/Korean Sauna while here. Part of my extended family is from Seoul. Which Korean Sauna in the DMV is the most well-run? Are there times of day that are less busy?

Also, is Kogiya still the place for Korean BBQ? Or are there newer options? (We loved Kogiya but have not been since before the pandemic.)

Thank you!!

Strongly disagree. Read the reviews on Yelp.

When you go to these places do you also do the day spa services, or just soak in the pools/hot tubs?

Loved Spa World, but it’s jumped the shark. Interested in King Spa.

How does a spa jump the shark? Genuinely curious, never been to SW.

Not PP, but I went to Spa World pretty regularly for years, but at some point it just started to really go down hill. Specifically, things were not as clean. And the place just wasn't perfectly maintained. And it was noticeable. So I haven't been in a few years. Have been wanting to try King Spa, but haven't gotten there yet.

I misread the title as “Korean Spies”!
