Drive to PSU

What the easiest route to take to get to PSU? Google maps gives me 2 options: I270-70-99 or I270-15-22-322

I don't want to deal with tolls or construction (PA Turnpike) so I guess option 2 is the best route for me (270-15-22-322), right?

Rt. 15, 22, and 322 sound like rural-ish roads. Please tell me there will be gas stations, shopping centers, and such along the way for me to stop and stretch and quickly eat.

Sorry for the dumb question. This is all new to me (never driven that way before) and I'm by myself. And interstate driving for long periods of time makes me nervous to boot.

Plenty of gas stations and chain options along 22. Look at the route on Apple or Google maps - you’ll see plenty of towns with everything you need

You’ll never hit the turnpike. No reason to. It goes across pa, not up.
270-70-322. If you are coming from Dc, it will be 3 hrs or less. Plenty of places to stop. There will be hills to climb into the mountains at the last hour.
