USYS, ECNL, GA

What is USYS doing currently or even in the past few years that can actually keep up with ECNL and GA on the girls side? Everything they have tried seems to be a mess and with ECNL, ECNL-RL, GA and all the USYS Leagues, it has watered down the entire system.

Will it ever be able to get to a true pyramid and moving teams/clubs up and down based on merit and success?

I do NOT think USYS watered down anything and I doubt there is anything that can keep things from going the way they are going in the short term. Maybe one day they merge everything (that would require ECNL clubs to be moved down to the 2nd level which is probably why things will not change for a while).

What? Would usysa teams be at the top level?
