What dose did mounjaro start working?

I just started on mounjaro this weekend at 2.5. I haven’t felt any positive effects yet. What dose did it take to kick in for weight loss?

For many people it takes the full dose for it to work. Give it time. Also don’t force yourself to eat if you’re not super hungry. You have plenty of stored up calories.

My doctor started me on 5.0, and it worked immediately.

I started on the lowest dose of Wegovy and it took 5-7 days to lose anything. After about 8-10 weeks I plateaued for about 3-4 weeks and I’ve lost a few more pounds the last two weeks. I’ve lost 23 pounds so far. You have to be patient and let the meds work. By work I mean it makes you feel fuller faster. As soon as that feeling hits you put down the fork, that’s the key.

I lost right away after the first week but I was so focused on exercise, staying hydrated and what I ate and didn’t eat.

I started losing right away, but I changed my diet immediately. I would say I started feeling the “help” from the meds after a couple weeks maybe. Usually around 3 weeks on a dose it’ll be at its peak level because it builds up, so hopefully you’ll start feeling more then.

I didn't lose much until 7.5. I think I'm a non-responder to some extent. I don't feel hungry but also don't get full easily or feel sick if I eat too much or something bad. I have to be careful to eat well and take small portions.
