Converting DC (Expired) Provisional License to Full License

My 17-yo's DC provisional drivers license expired in late August and he did not realize it. He is now trying to obtain his full license.
The website and the 311 staffer we talked to gave different answers. Does anyone know whether he has to redo everything or can he convert to a full license in person at the DMV. Thx. |

| Not sure about DC but in Maryland if you let your provisional expire you have to start all over. This was close to happening to my nephew but he passed the test in time. |
