I read somewhere that a smaller grocer (like a Trader Joe’s) was looking at it - unclear which one, especially since we have one of so many things within a mile of there already. Maybe a LIDL (which I like better than Aldi)?
What’s a good sign is that the other businesses seem to do good business as that parking lot is still rather full even without that Giant. I thought that Giant was terrible, so there’s not change for me for the stores I use in that shopping center. |

LIDL is in McLean so seems unlikely. The nearest Aldi Is in Baileys, which takes a lot longer to get to.
Aldi also would be low investment location since that building is slated for demolition when they build apartments. |
