What happened to Always Maxi Pads?!

Anonymous
THEY'RE SO ROUGH now!!! The cover or top part feel like rough paper towels and leaves pressure marks/indentations on my backside and causes soreness. They hurt me now. I don't understand why they changed them also the blue dye part feels rougher too. Has pads wearers noticed this?

P.s. I have to wear pads because tampons make my cramps worse and endo pains worse.

I switched to the Always Flexifoam with wings pads years ago, they keep changing the packaging but I haven't noticed a change in the product.

I switched to an organic brand and it feels so much better. And I've not had any leaks. Try Rael Organic on amazon.

I hate the flex foam type. Maybe you got that type by mistake? It’s hard and like having styrofoam packing material in my underwear and it does not absorb well. I don’t leak but it’s like gross sitting on top vice absorbing.

The flex foam holds everything and is indeed softer feeling, but they're hot since it's like foam plastic.

Regular always is trash, so rough the top sheet is awful like chaffing bad.

I don't think they're rough, but they make my vaginal area itchy sometimes. One thing I have noticed just within the last year is that the sticky part tends to really get stuck to my underwear and sometimes it's hard to pull off without the pad ripping. Never had that problem in the 10+ years I've been using them.

NP. I use pantiliners every day (I've always been a leaky person) and have noticed the same problem with them sticking too strongly. Ugh!

No one else finds these rough?

I noticed that adhesive change years ago. Maybe they have multiple factories.

Sometimes I also couldn't get the adhesive off of nylon panties. I learned to separate the ones with stuck-on adhesive, put them in a wash bag, remove after laundering, and then you can rub off the adhesive into balls. Then dry as normal.

What issues and why? Have used always for decades with no issues.

I’ve experienced terrible irritation lately with these. Thought it was yet another peri issue, but will now try another brand!
