I went to SIS to try to fill out the federal impact aid survey, and it made me go to the OVU packet and had to go through the whole thing again and never saw any link to the federal impact aid survey. I want to get out of it, and am wondering if I should click delete the OVU packet, or will that erase all information? I made no updates.
Also does anyone know if the Lightspeed report is available to both parents, or just the enrolling parent? Tried to sign up and never got anything. |
I'm not doing it-FCPS does nothing these days for students and families so-no to filling out these forms. |
This form relates to federal funding. Please fill it out. |
You clicked the wrong packet. There was a very large button that clearly said Federal Impact Aid Survey |
| It says "Registration must be completed for 2024-2025 Federal Impact Aid Survey". I already registered my child and updated the info in the beginning of the year. It's acting like I have to register again first to fill out the survey. |

If you have not yet filled out the Online Verification Update packet for your student this year, you will most likely need to do so before completing the Impact Aid survey.
Lightspeed emails are currently only available to the enrolling parent. |

how much money does fcps get from this survey?
-two parents working for the federal government in Virginia |
| I deleted the OVU and now see the survey but the writing is half cut off like the IT department programmed it to look good on a cell phone and didn't test it for how it looks on a computer. |
I said I filled out the OVU packet at the beginning of the year. That's not fair to divorced parents that both parents can't see the Lightspeed report. |
The funding is supposed to supplement military kids. It never does. FCPS uses it for other purposes. |
Not filling it out. |
$3 million |
| I thought schools would bug you to death to fill it out, but I always have. |
| It's not working. The button you click just takes you to ack to the same button. |
The funding is supposed to make up for the fact that federal offices and military bases do not pay local property taxes. It is not supposed to be for any specific students. Fill it out if you can. Hopefully it brings some extra federal money into the system which certainly can't hurt. |
