Every single day. It's driving me insane. Like, I actually have visions of punching her in the face
What the hell can I do? |
| She probably doesn't even realize she's doing it. I had a similar coworker. I had to teach myself to tune it out. It worked, it just takes time. Now I can easily tune out annoying background noises and it's great. |
| Ask to be moved. Wear noise-canceling headphones. |
| This me right now. I'm sorry. I'm taking meds to combat the stupid postnasal drip that's causing it. |
| Talk to a psychiatrist |
| It could be a tic also. Regardless it is medical so you can't punch her. |
| I feel your pain! The guy in the office next to mine hocks loogies into his trashcan multiple times per day and it is so gross!!! I'm pretty good at tuning out background noise but ugh! |

All of this is workplace harassment
(i'm only partially joking. They would drive me mad too) |
Those two are not the same thing. |
|
| You must work with my mom. It drives me crazy. She does not notice it either. It’s her allergies and already takes meds, did the shots and there is not much more she can do. |
| Probably GERD, OP. Not much you can do. |
| Maybe you can offer a coughdrop every time she does it so that she's at least aware that she's audible and it does impact her coworkers. |
| Loop earplugs might help, so sorry! |
| And this is why I don’t miss going into the office. |
