| I find it easier to send from my gmail and can copy in my DH, but am curious if sending from ParentVue is helpful for the teacher. |
| If you email through ParentVUE, It remains on file For anyone to see. So depending on the topic or content, you may want to email there instead. |
Um, in case you may have forgotten, email stays on file as well. |
Ah interesting |
| I prefer emails to my outlook vs synergy. |
|
Most teachers have indicated that they prefer emails to their mcps emails
|
Lol you have no idea how parent vue works. The emails will live there forever, from the entire time a child is enrolled in mcps. So it will be there for ANY staff member to see. In case “you may have forgotten “ |
| Teacher here. I prefer parents directly email me through their gmail account. Synergy is a pain to use and adds an extra step to respond back to the parent |
This. Most teacher I know (work with and my kid’s current and past teachers) all prefer emails go to our outlook accounts. Synergy is a pain. |
Every staff member can read every student and teacher ParentVue message? |
No, staff members can't read every email in Synergy. I imagine that there are some IT people who can see all of the emails sent. |
I imagine they are the same ones who have admin access to outlook-based email |
Thank you! I had no idea. |
It is much harder for me to respond to a parent who emails from ParentVue. Even if forwarded to Outlook, I still have to log into Synergy to reply to those messages. |
I log every single parent email regardless of how it is sent. |
