Democrats: Harris is going to win. Act like it!

Anonymous
We are going to crush Donald Trump and the sickness he represents. There are more of us than there are of them. We are right. They are wrong. This is our moment. This is our destiny. Walk with confidence. Do not falter. Victory will be ours.

Arrogance is walking on the field, bragging you will win without having done the work. The Harris-Walz campaign and thousands of us volunteers are doing the hard work. We've earned it.

No team wins the Superbowl thinking, "We might have a shot." This is ours. Walk out and take it. We will look back at this moment with quiet pride and satisfaction for the rest of our lives knowing that when America called, we answered.

Inspired by Stuart Stevens.

Next time, let’s have a real primary and trust the voters to put up the strongest candidate. You can try to put a brave face on this one, but the reality is that Kamala is a lousy politician.

It's better than the MaGa fanfic obsession.

It is not magical thinking. Democrats as a party tend to be more "sky is falling" about elections. It's built into their DNA for some reason. But it is not magical thinking to accept a likely win. It's realistic.

I blame all the legalized super-marijuana. GenZ can no longer think at all.

Serious question: Why isn't Kamala campaigning this week? For the second day in a row - 13 days before the election - no rallies, no appearances. Just prepping for short sit-down interviews.

I hate to be the one to put this out there, but - I think she's thrown in the towel. How else to read this?

OP, your enthusiasm is appreciated, but if the candidate doesn't have it, how can we?

She needs a lot of time to prep for interviews.

PP again. I get that, but why do interviews at all? I did just read that she declined Joe Rogan, so I think that's a good move.

She's clearly better at group events and rallies. I don't understand why she's not barnstorming the swing states like Trump is. She could easily do a couple of rallies each day in each swing state and that would do a lot to energize her campaign.

I seriously don't understand this decision.

In retrospect it was probably a lot to expect of her to go from three years of low activity VP idleness to suddenly being thrust in the starring role and constantly campaigning. Three months in, she looks exhausted. And she’s looking at early voting numbers that look mostly bad.

How is she a lousy politician? She has more elections under her belt than either Trump or Vance. She has more experience in public officiant than Trump and Vance combined. What is lousy? Economists, save the Navarros of the world (when they're not in jail and barred from their electronics), believe his economic agenda could trigger a worldwide recession.

PP here. I agree with this. She does look exhausted. Hopefully she is getting some rest for the final week!

Perhaps if you followed something other than Fox News and OAN, you would know she is barnstorming the swing states. That's pretty much all she is doing between media interviews. Trump has more holes in his schedule as he has cancelled all mainstream media after the disastrous Univision Town Hall coupled with the Bloomberg interview.

And she is not holding a rally in the LA coliseum a week before the election (Trump, MSG, 10/27).
