What was your experience being on the football team in a huge school?

If you went to a large with over 2000, what was your experience like being on the football team and would you do it again? If you have a child who went through a similar experience, would you recommend it again or do you wish they spend their time on another sport?

It’s a weird question…my kid’s 2000 person HS has a terrible football team with very little student fan attendance.

I think kids that like the game enjoy playing and everyone makes the team.
