Miele range?

Anyone have a Miele range? Thinking of buying the dual fuel that has a steam function. Price is within my budget. Can’t seem to find many reviews online but loved it in the store and love the features- thoughts?

Anyone?

Not a huge fan of German appliances in general. They're often very poorly designed and unreliable. Have a Miele vacuum and it is the most asinine, cuss inducing contraption ever invented. So many people I know have problems with Bosch appliances as well.

Oh interesting. We actually have a Miele dishwasher that’s amazing so I was interested in their ranges. My neighbor has gaggenau in her kitchen and it definitely doesn’t seem unreliable it seems amazing! But the price point is a little higher.

That's strange. Everyone I know with a Miele vacuum loves it - as do I. They also last a long time.
I really appreciate my Bosch dishwasher too - it's so quiet and the trays are well designed.

However, I did not know that Miele made ranges. I would suggest Viking, Wolf, Gagganau as middle of the road and La Cornue or Aga if you want to splurge.

Love that Wolf and Gagganau are middle of the road in DCUM land!!! For a 12-15k range!

La Cornue has reliability issues.

I never understood the appeal of an Aga. You can't even see what's cooking. And the ovens are miniscule.

We have an Aga and adore it. It's certainly not for everyone.

It’s great. Until it’s not. Then good luck finding someone to fix it or figuring out what parts needs replacing, ordering, and getting it done

Really? Hmm the appliance store guy seemed surprised when I asked about this and said that they have Miele repairmen in house and it’s no trouble, but that he doesn’t frequently get calls for Miele repairs.

I can't speak to the ranges, but my Miele vacuum is great. It is probably thirty years old and was a hand-me-down when I got it a decade ago. It is by far the best vacuum that I have ever used, and it has never needed a repair.

I love my Miele range, refrigerator and dw. Have had them for five years with no issues so far.

Thanks - love my DW which is what prompted me to look at their ranges and they seem gorgeous and the features seem awesome. Just can’t find many reviews, anywhere!! But I can’t find many reviews for gaggenau either and I know they’re great in my friends house. Maybe people just don’t review these brands much. See tons of reviews for wolf but I don’t actually like their range! (I’m sure I’m an outlier)
