Hi Jeff, can you please share the criteria for starting new threads in the political forum?
I started one just now discussing the tightening of the race in favor of Trump this past week (as confirmed by The Guardian, NPR and many other publications), but it was deleted in under 10 seconds. Any reason why? Did I do something wrong? Meanwhile there seem to be all manner of pro Kamala threads discussing meaningless nuance, etc. Thanks for clarifying! |
| We have a thread about poll results already. We also have a thread about actual voting data (early voting numbers, etc.). Almost every thread is about who posters think will win. Moreover, there seems to be an orchestrated campaign to post thread suggesting Harris is losing, something that is not supported by the polls. I've deleted those threads because I think they are part of an effort to create an illusion that Trump is going to win so that when Trump loses, it will be easier to blame it on cheating. Your thread was not quite as bad as those, but close enough and there are plenty of other threads to discuss the same thing. |
Thank you Jeff. Those posts were getting obnoxious. I was wondering if it was the same person or multiple people posting them? |
| OP here. Thanks for the explanation. Watching the media, I don’t know what to think. It does seem the race is tightening, but it’s still within the margin of error in the swing states, so I think it easily could go either way. If either candidate loses, it will be purely their own fault I think. We’ll see soon enough. |
