Thoughts on Portland Leather Goods?

Has anyone bought their products and can provide a review? I am intrigued by their "almost perfect" sales. And honestly, I feel like the mystery boxes could provide good holiday gifts if they're of good quality. I am intrigued by the wristlets, pouches, totes and wallets. Basically everything but the coin purses, I guess. But I'm always hesitant to buy from a brand online if I have no in-person experience with them.

Yes I bought a bag 4y ago from them that I took to work every day. The leather is excellent quality and the bag still looks new. I recently bought another bag and some shoes from them. Love this brand.

I purchased a leather tote a few years ago and I’m happy with it. Mine doesn’t look perfectly new anymore but I like how the leather has worn in. It reminds me of a used but cared for saddle or bridle.

That’s too bad that they discontinued the shoe line! I have a pair of boots from them that I love. They are comfortable and great quality, and I’m still wearing them several years later. I also purchased a small pouch as a gift.

I have one of their almost perfect bags and love it! I have no idea why it was categorized as less than perfect - it still looks great after three years.

I got a mystery box a couple years ago. It had a tote, a toiletries bag, a notebook with cover, a pencil case and a small wallet. I use the tote all the time; it is good quality leather with string zipper. I think the mystery boxes all have a tote, but you should double check that.

I have a few which I got from mystery boxes. The designs are basic, and you have to be open to not being able to specify the size (except for the one mystery box that is one of the smaller sizes). They hold up well, and if you love “that leather smell” you will be very happy. The small items are totally random, but everyone once in a while I need something (like a sunglass case) so i use one.

It can be a fun gift. I have gotten the mystery boxes a few times because as a single parent, it’s fun to have something under the tree on Christmas morning that I don’t know what is inside.

I have the small metro bag and a medium tote. The leather is thick and smells heavenly (if you like the smell of leather). It is definitely a casual bag and not at all refined but I feel like it will last a long time.

I have a x large tote, and a few crossbody purses. I love them. Well made, and quality leather.

I have many crossbody totes as I like colors, but they are all casual bags. I wear them on my commute but wouldn't take them into a nice meeting.

I have two pairs of shoes and they are literally the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I'm super sad they've discontinued the shoe line.
