Where do you read your news?

Just curious. I feel like the Washington Post has really declined lately and I don't trust it to be accurate anymore. I used to read the Chicago Tribune and it's barely more than a gossip site now. I'm not interested in blogs or sites with an obvious or stated bias. Where to go for basic news reporting on world and/or local topics and events????

NYTimes online first, also WaPo online. Love, love, love The NewsHour on PBS in the evenings. There is nothing else even remotely likely it.

I cancelled my Washington Post subscription and now get The New York Times. I've been very happy with it.

I usually check WTOP.com and NBC4.com daily for local news and CNN.com for national/world news.

Why DCUM, of course!

Almost all online.

Daily/regularly:

CNN
Haaretz
Al Jazeera English
Le Monde
Economist

And occasionally I surf for other international papers online. They all cover American issues and it's very interesting to get different perspectives.

The New York Times
The Washington Post

both online and in print

The News Hour on PBS
BBC News

I know "Meet the Press" isn't really news but it helps me to understand whats going on and who the players are

The Economist -- they can still write.

Don't have time to read. Listen to NPR during the commute.

Ditto this, word for word. PBS NewsHour also has a website updated frequently throughout the day (pbs.org/newshour) and a news blog as well as Facebook and Twitter presence. Many ways to know what's going on.....

Another NPR listener. I read some online, but mostly it's listening to NPR (and sometimes WTOP) in the car.

Still the Washington Post first, then NYT, NPR, CNN online and -- for entertainment purposes and good video clips -- the Huffington Post.

The gym in my office is always set to either CNN or MSNBC and I listen to that 2x a week during my lunch hour workouts.

Our communications department also delivers via email every morning a dozen or so pertinent new stories concerning my industry so that is a good source too. That plus daily email listservs I'm on delivering news stories does it for me.
