Twopagecurtains Reviews?

Considering buying linen curtains from here. Any reviews? Any product line you would recommend over others? What is the Quality like?

I’ve never ordered from there but I want all curtain panels to be appropriately full, lined, interlined, with buckram at the top and a return measured for the hardware I’m using. I think those things matter more than the face fabric. A cheap face fabric can look great if it has interlining.

Op here. PP, Where do I find such well made curtains? I don’t see interlining as an option in the site above

I checked it actually is! I think the linen ones you’re looking at might be sheers.

The price for the pair I looked at was like 450 for a pair, which might be a little better than you’d do locally but not a lot. But I appreciate that ordering locally can be a pain and very analog so I see the appeal.

You can order samples of their fabric. I ordered a bunch and thought it was fine. the 100% belgian linen is quite thin and fine textured. So yes you will need the lining.

Their most popular fabrics are synthetics, which is fine for drapery because they have better structure and lay better and are sunlight resistant.

PP is right if you have the right treatment any fabric will look good, triple pleat, trained, and lined. And make sure you have enough width so they're not laying flat ever even after you pull them shut.

Even ikea curtains look good when you have enough fabric (the cheapo pleating system they have actually looks great in my house, and i don't need lining because it's not bright).

Trained and lined yes. I see the explanation for interlining but don’t see the option to add it. How important is interlining? PP, did you end up buying from them?

Interlining just makes the whole panel feel thicker. It’s kind of like a layer of thin felt. You’ll never know it’s there if you don’t know, it will just seem like the face fabric is lovely and beefy, but once you know the difference you’ll pretty much always want it imo.

I ordered from them. I'm happy, but I added all the upgrades...

I noticed that a lot of influencers who are probably get their orders for free don't have the nicest versions. They have the basic, unlined linen and they are getting off-white or beige, so the details aren't noticeable.

I ordered swatch books first (not a single swatch, the whole book for several fabrics) and selected the nicest fabric that worked with the color I wanted. I upgraded to the most expensive lining, triple pleating, and training. My panels are 92" long and something like 35" wide each. I'm very happy.

One pair wound up being around $400 when the "base" was $40.

A note about discount codes: 14% is the "normal" discount. As soon as one code expires, a new one comes up. A couple times per year, the discount increases to 17%. I think Black Friday will be the next big increase.

Also, you'll get a few dollars added to your account after ordering anything. I ordered the swatch books and had money in my account a day or two later.

Happy to answer more questions!

Thanks! That is reassuring. Do you remember which fabric you went with eventually? Does the training continue to work post first wash?

You won’t be able to wash them. But you can have them dry cleaned.

So funny to see this. I just received my swatches books this week! I was wondering when I’d be able to get a discount higher than 14% so thanks for that tip PP.

I found a similar custom curtain website called IXA Curtains. I bought linen blended curtains from their store. The size was perfect and the quality was very good. Their online measurement tool is also very easy to use. I recommend it!
