New WTU Contract details

Anonymous
Anyone know anything about the new contract? I haven’t had a chance to see or speak to my building rep and the WTU website is awful. I’m curious about changes to planning periods (I teach secondary) and the “wellness” days.
TIA!

They emailed out the exact language of all the changes last week.

Did they put in time for IEP meetings? It’s so terrible trying to get teachers together for IEP meetings. They don’t get any time for it in DCPS.

It’s so odd of you to post this here. It was emailed, contact the WTU through that.

And when you go to vote they show you all the documents again. I suspect it’s someone who isn’t a WTU member.

I'm a DCPS teacher and also did not get the email. I'd love to hear the changes and highlights. Is it top secret? If not, spill the beans please.

Pay your dues and they will send you the email and you can vote on it. If you’re not a dues paying member you can find out all the details when it’s finalized.

Aren't contracts open to the public anyway?
