Is it just me or are none of the celebrities under 35 beautiful as the ones that were of the same age years ago?

The celebrities I always thought were naturally beautiful are aging but I don't think the current slew of younger celebrities are beautiful. More like ultra filtered, nipped and tucked, ultra botoxed, and so much stuff done on them they look like AI people.

I agree, but Hollywood used to train its actresses - not just on clothes, hair, and makeup, but on mannerisms and comportment. Charm. You could see echos of that even into the early aughts.

I think that’s all gone out of the window.

Posture is also a big factor - people have terrible posture now because A. It's not focused on anymore, and B. Cell phones - everyone looks down and hunches over.

Poor posture makes you look awful.

I've noticed that none of the nepo kids are as beautiful as their parents were.

Too many nepo kids, so actually attractive random talented people don't have a chance.

Too much botox / plastic surgery at an earlier age.

Why do actors and singers have to be beautiful? That's not what I see at the supermarket or work.

I know they must be talented, but there were some actors who would never be in front of the camera from the 90s onward they were just to weird looking.

Maybe gorgeous young women should re-think having children with ugly old rich men.
The kids often come out with their fathers' looks and their moms' brains.

I think it's the social media effect? There should be more representation of diverse faces and bodies but instead everyone is trying to look the same. The blow up doll look. I hate it.

I agree for the most part, but there are still plenty of natural beauties. For example, I think Yara Shahidi is gorgeous.

I go back to look at teen actors in the 80s and I don’t think they are attractive really. Wasn’t that the point that they were relatable.

Do we even know what any of these celebs' kids look like?

I think OP might have been thinking about people like Cindy Crawford vs Kaia, Uma vs her daughter, Andie McDowell vs her daughters, Kate Moss vs her daughter, Catherine Zeta Jones vs her daughter, etc.

This is a good point. I ALWAYS thought Molly Ringwald was ugly. Not plain in comparison to her costars, but truly homely.

I actually think Kaia looks just like her mom. The others, not so much. But Kaia really is beautiful in the way that her mom was/is.
