How was the NC ECNL Showcase?

I've heard all the WAGS yammering. How was the quality of competition in the young girls weekend in NC? MDU posted on their instagram that two of their teams went undefeated. What they didn't mention is four of those six matches were draws. (But on a technicality, they WERE undefeated, but also winless)

VDA 11's did amazing! Two wins and one draw, only allowing ONE goal!

It's not a technicality. They were literally weren't defeated. If you watch professional pregame broadcasts they will say similar, "Liverpool comes into this match undefeated in the last eight games with six wins and two draws."

Now, the social media post may have been hyping themselves but they were not defeated.

Good spread of competition. Nice facility other than one tiny field some teams were forced to play on. Shoebox front and center!

it's not a technically because a tie isn't a loss (or a win), you only consider it a technically because most American sports have 2 outcomes win or lose and if that's the only two outcomes then yes undefeated means they won all their games...across the globe for any sport that allows a tie, 2 wins and 4 ties = undefeated...the same can be said for 2 loses and 4 ties that the team would be winless in 6 matches - it goes both ways.
