How much is your energy bill in the month of September?

My electric and gas combined are $287 for the month of September. House is a 1960s 2600 sq ft house with new windows, blown in attic insulation and a new HVAC system.

That seems decent. I have a 1200 sq ft top floor 2 br apt (from mid 2000's) that has horrible windows and weatherproofing. Sept was $138

$150, bigger and older house, all electric with solar to cover 40% of our average use. Our fall bills are usually the lowest because there's ample sun for solar but little need for heat/air. Our late winter bills are highest.

We haven’t run the HVAC (heat or AC) since Labor Day weekend.

September-October and April-May are our lowest energy bills of the year.
