ICYMI: Christmas has become a secular holiday. I know Jewish and Muslim families who decorate with a tree. Just steer clear of any song referencing Jesus, but don’t be afraid to use a song referencing Christmas.

Omg not this nonsense again. Christmas is not a secular holiday. It is a religious holiday. Sure, people celebrate it in a secular fashion and never once think of Jesus. The way I celebrate Hannukah by spinning a dreidal and listening to Adam Sandler. This doesn’t make hannukah a secular holiday it just makes me someone who is appropriating the fun parts of someone else’s religion. Which is fine. |
