Does Moco not recycle bottles anymore

They only take my paper and cardboard and leave the bottles. What’s going on?

Arlington doesn't. It's too expensive.

So I throw out my plastics and bottles now?

Glass, yes. Plastic, no. Although recycling plastic usually involves burning it.

Maybe they'll do something like Fairfax, where they have giant glass dumpsters all over the county and you take it yourself. It has been a successful program.

Wait what? They aren’t accepting glass recycling ing anymore? I never heard this. And according to their website they are taking glass — they just don’t take things like drinking glasses (which are not recyclable):

Interesting.

Glass can also just be cleansed and reused like in many countries, with a deposit on the bottle, but EPA and government won't allow that anymore.
