Chinese dumpling sauce

Anonymous
I am not a cook so I am not looking for a recipe, but rather a product.
I love getting fried dumplings at chinese restaurants and I love the dipping sauce that comes with them. It always has a sweet ginger taste to it. Put I can never seem to buy a product that has the same taste. They never seem to be sweet enough or have the right consistency.
For example last night I made these and loved the sauce! Does anyone know of a product that would match that taste.

You don’t have to “cook” dumpling sauce. You just mix a few things together. But you didn’t want a recipe, so…

i mean the ingredient list tells you pretty much exactly what's in the sauce? It's just a couple of things that you mix together.

Kikkoman makes a Gyoza sauce.

The sauce you listed is ponzu. It has no ginger. Kikkoman ponzu sauce is easy to find in most grocery stores.

My fave dumpling sauce is 50/50 vinegar and soy sauce with fresh ginger chopped (slivered) in it. Not sweet but delicious and helps cut the fatty rich filling.

OP didn't ask for recipes, but if anyone else is looking, I like PP’s version with a little sesame oil, a healthy dab of gochujang (fermented chile paste), doenjang (fermented soybean paste), topped with toasted sesame seeds and gochugaru(chile flakes). Deluxe sauce.

Sometimes dumplings have Hoisin sauce, but I prefer the less sweet sauces posted in this thread.
